Welcome to the INWES Education and Research Institute Website
INWES Education and Research Institute is a charitable organization governed by a Board of Directors consisting of Directors representing organization, corporate, institute/university, and/or individual memberships in INWES. The INWES Education and Research Institute was established by INWES as a separate organization in order to better achieve its objectives with regards to funding education in STEM. The Institute was incorporated by letters patent under the Canada Corporations Act effective November 29, 2007; and was designated as a Charitable Organization in Canada effective February 28, 2008; BN # 82690 2751 RR0001. The Institute became registered as a not-for-profit 501c3 organization EIN 98-0623980 through reciprocity by the United States of America Internal Revenue Service effective March 3, 2010. The Institute is governed by a Board of Directors, and activities are planned and administered through three committees: programs, finance and communications.
